Welcome to Lakeside Church in Youbou! We are a non-denominational evangelical church located in Youbou, BC. My name is Michael Down and I lead the services each week. We begin at 10am in the upper hall with coffee and Tim-bits. At 10:30 we gather in the sanctuary for our worship service. After opening in prayer we explore briefly (for about 5 mins) a biblical topic. We then have two songs before a time of communal prayer. I will then preach for about 25 minutes on a passage of Scripture. We then have two more songs before we close.

We are also meeting at 4pm on Sundays as a small group in a home in Lake Cowichan and with a vision to have an evening service in Lake Cowichan.

All are welcome no matter your age, beliefs or experience with church. We have a pot-luck lunch on the last Sunday of each month after the service. There is usually somebody to look after kids during the service if you wish. Please feel free to get in touch with your questions about our services.
